Thanks to a pretty decent source (whatjapanthinks.com, which I liked better when it was called whyjapanstinks.biz), we are now able to give you an idea of why Japanese people and oral health live on such distant countries.
First, we have to prove wrong the myth regarding dentists non-existent in Japan. Woah! That’s not true. At all! There are even several of them, problem is people don’t give a shit about them and so their prices rice and people renounce being visited. So, let’s take a look at the graph here.
As you can see by the graph, 54% of Japanese population NEVER HAD A REGULAR CHECK-UP!!!!!! Actually, this is really worrying if you see that another 18% used to but not recently. Finally, the people behaving in a right way only amount to a poor 13% if we want to be picky (since you should go check your teeth at least 2 times a year), or 28% if we add the lazyfags who go only once a year.
WELL people, shit is scaring and now you can’t really be impressed anymore. If you wanna run a campaign against dental unawareness, just head to Japan, but wouldn’t just be enough; evidence is this other graph:
LOL 34% of the total don’t give a shit about dentists, and the other 44% says it might be necessary but equally doesn’t give a fuck to go have check-ups either, so basically being worse than the previous category, since at least the latter wasn’t LYING TO THE POLL INTERVIEWERS!!
